However, we think this is a food that can be savoured at any time of year, provided that seasonal ingredients are used to make it.<\/p>\n<h2>Seasonal fruit in winter<\/h2>\n<p>It&#8217;s always good to enjoy fruit in season as it&#8217;s certainly fresher, natural and tasty. Although summer fruits are most people&#8217;s favourite, we think there are real delights to be found among <strong>winter&#8217;s seasonal fruits<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For example, we&#8217;d suggest the persimmon: originally from China, this fruit with a beautiful orange colour is high in sugar, but also has a high concentration of vitamin C, potassium and beta carotene.
